On July 9th, from 930 AM to 11:00 AM, we will have the privilege of hosting a free talk with Margaret Cullen and Silvia Fernández Campos dedicated to exploring this quality: equanimity.
Margaret Cullen is a licensed psychotherapist and the founder of Compassion Corps. She was among the first ten people trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and co-developed the Compassion Cultivation Training program with Thupten Jinpa at Stanford University, as well as the Mindfulness and Compassion program for military spouses with Amishi Jha at the University of Miami. She has written extensively on mindfulness and has taught contemplative programs to diverse populations around the world.
In this free talk, Margaret will share insights gained over decades of teaching mindfulness and compassion to various groups, as well as the research behind her newly published book, Quiet Strength.
